I fired my first attorney. He was a tired old guy just looking
for some cash flow. But when I staggered into his office with my disc hanging
out he seemed like a godsend. " I believe you son," he said. When the going
got tough he immediately questioned my integrity. Goodbye I said. I then
told my same story to two new attorneys only now at a time when I had a
denied claim. One of them said, "I believe you. It's going to be difficult
be maybe we can win this." We did eventually get an accepted claim.
Obviously this doesn't help recently injured workers. I feel fortunate
that I hung in there and found a competent guy.
