How does an official elected to represent the people of the state of Oregon so blatantly serve the needs of private industry and business from which he reaps monetary rewards, without it being some serious violation of law or at least some conflict of interest?
It seems amazing that both Mannix and Derfler are recognized as the handmaidens of worker's compensation insurers and the employers.
It would seem there would be more accountability on the govenment level for the actions of elected officials and their abuse of their office.
