For those of you who have been following my case, yesterday I got the letter from Washington state L&I denying my claim. Once more I'm facing the mushroom growing system (feed them crap and keep them in the dark), it says "denied in accordance with WAC 296-20-124(2)...." and "not an occupational disease as contemplated by section 51.08.140 RCW." Looking at the RCW's the explanation is so vague it really doesn't tell me much. So, I'm still in the dark and fed a bunch of crap.
My claim was for bilateral carpal tunel syndrome and bilateral thoracic outlet syndrome after working at typing for over 20yrs! Maybe they think I got it from aliens from outerspace!
Monday morning this is going to my attorney, who is still deciding if they'll take the case.
Anybody here has been denied a claim for carpal tunel syndrome before? I'd like to hear from them.
