I have a novel idea: why don't you call the person who is handling your claim (the work comp examiner)? The idea of "running" to an attorney is rediculous. If you don't get assistance from the work comp carrier, then you may want to think about representation. To simply run to an attorney automatically makes this an advirsarial condition.
