I added some of it last night to show my own story and how close I came a few years ago when the doctor I saw said I had "nothing that would cause pain" and cut me off. I think this is the first time a Medical Board will get the help of the DEA in "clearing" a doctor to treat pain.
Unless the DEA tells doctors they won't go after them and they've changed their policy, they will be afraid to treat pain. But according to the email Sherry sent out their investigations are up, rather than down. Unless they turn that around doctors will continue to be afraid to treat pain. With the Supreme Court supporting pain control with narcotics, they MUST do something with the DEA working against their ruling.
